Upland Boneset
Eupatorium sessifolium

Upland Boneset derives its name from the fact that true Boneset (Eupatorium perfoliatum) has unique leaves which appear to be pierced by its stem. This unique appearance made it seem useful to herbalists as a charm for the proper healing of broken bones. Though Upland Boneset does not share this unusual feature of the leaves, it has the same fluffly white flowers as its relative.
